Oatmeal Milkshake

This is a quick and healthy milkshake for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Rolled oats, fruit, yogurt, milk. Blend it together. That is it. There are no measurements, and no requirements. Use what you have on hand.

For the above pictured milkshake I blended uncooked rolled oats with milk approximately 1:3 ratio is how I like it. I added in a glop of vanilla yogurt, a bunch of frozen blackberries, a little bit of honey and a pinch of cinnamon. I blended it smooth with an emulsion blender and immediately served it.

You could easily soak your oats over night in water to get creamier oats.

You could use fresh or frozen fruit.

You could use plain or sweetened yogurt.

Heck you could skip the dairy and opt for fruit juices or milk alternatives.

You can even prep this milkshake the night before and keep it in the fridge.

This little treat comes out thick and tasty every time.
